A huge congratulations to Mr. Ford as his STEAM ‘Maker of the Month’ program has been selected by Character.org as a 2020 Promising Practice!  His program was determined to be fully aligned with one or more of Character.org’s 11 Principles Framework for Schools: A Guide to Cultivating a Culture of Character.

The STEAM ‘Maker of the Month’ recognition celebrates three students from grades K-5 each month for positive participation in the STEAM Collaboratory. Recipients of this award [each receive a lawn sign] demonstrate a love for creating and engineering, work well with peers and teams, are actively engaged and are respectful leaders. Selected students promote 21st century learning to the highest level.

We are so proud of Mr. Ford and our students here Berlin Community School. Together we do great things!
