Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade
In order to qualify for the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade identified program, students must have the highest number of accumulated points on the Gifted and Talented Matrix. Students will attend a pull-out class that will meet once a week. The 2nd Grade Gifted and Talented class will begin in October, 1st Grade will begin after the 1st marking period, and Kindergarten begins in January/February based on the testing schedule.
Identification Process for Students in Grades K-2:

- Fountas and Pinnell Reading Level (Above Grade Level)
- Report Card Grades (Exceeds Expectations in Reading and Math)

- IXL Scores: Language Arts and Math (Score Above Grade Level)
- HMH Score: ELA (Above Grade Level)
